Hey BGG, I had an odd thought the other day, and I wondered if such a device existed:

Is there any tool I could use to cut the excess, loose plastic in penny sleeves to make them tighter against the card? Now, some might think "dude, just buy the better sleeves and be done with it". But I'm simply curious if such a thing exists. I've tried looking at a few local craft stores to no avail.

Any thoughts?

I have heard of a vacuum sealer (FoodSaver) being used for this.

No problem, I hope it helped. Vacuum sealing would be awesome, I wonder if it works.

Maybe it's because I used a cheaper vacuum sealer but when I tried this it worked but the edges were a tad rougher than I liked. I did this years ago when there was less choice for card sleeves so I was making custom sized card sleeves then sealing the cards in. It made shuffling it little harder. The sealer in the link looks like it does a much better job.
