I received my copy yesterday as well. Looking forward to it. I haven't really seen any FAQ/corrections just yet. At least nothing official.

The only glaring error is in the manual, it says that when resting at the entrance for a turn, one of the options is to heal a Stamina AND Sanity for free, but on the card itself, it says you can heal a Stamina OR Sanity token for free. I think pretty much everyone agrees the card is correct and then manual is mistaken.

And Mandy Thompson's ability is once per day, not per turn.

Is that an actual misprint, or just a variant to make it harder?

It's a misprint per Richard Launius at GenCon where I was running events for FFG. He told me it was his intention for her ability to reset at each Midnight, so once a day.

For help with other FAQs, I suggest this thread:

http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/691023/elder-sign-faq

I am not an official source, but I was able to get some things answered by Richard and Kevin (Wilson) while at GenCon and noted such on that thread.

i've been using 2 or 3, but not picking a new one if i die.

playing with one is too easy because it only hits midnight once every 4 turns.

It still hits midnight every 4 turns with more than one investigator does it not?

yes it does, but with just one investigator they are (if they pass the adventures) get all the cards and bonus from the 4 turns, versus being split up among multiple investigators. I believe that's is why he thinks playing with just one investigator is too easy.
