Hi all,

The rule states that we start with 3 scouts. Does the 3 scouts have to be in the same SC-1 group or we can break them up into 3 groupings of SC-1 SC-2 and SC-3?

Having 3 scout groups moving in different direction exploring is faster than 1 group of 3, right?

Am I missing something?

If I run out of the group markers, can we re-use them? Eg. if my solo scout in SC-1 got destroyed and all my SC-2 to SC-6 markers are in used. Can I build more scouts with the defunct SC-1 marker?

thanks,
shaoming

You can always break units into different groups at any time.

...as long as you still have enough group markers that aren't currently used.

Also, you can merge groups at any time, as long as all the ships you want to group under one group counter share exactly the same technology levels.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Michael is right.

You are right that the correct play is to explore with your scouts in three different groups at the start of the game.

Yes, you can reuse the markers after they are destroyed.
