I am new to the game and I was wondering how to build an army.

Is this like Magic The Gathering where certain factions work best together?

What other faction works best with Feral, undead and treefolk?

Those seem to be the ones I like so far.

Thanks,
G

Using factions that share elements helps when wanting to get a lot of magic spell points.

I like making a variety of combinations personally.

You can find the rulebook here: http://www.sfr-inc.com/StarterRules.pdf Look at Step 1: Decide Total Force Size, on page 7.

The rulebook is also available in these 2-player starter sets: http://www.sfr-inc.com/cart/index.php?cPath=21&osCsid=085f71... If you don't have one already, I recommend you get the Undead/Feral starter set, which will give you 18 point armies for two of your favorite factions. The dice in the starter sets are random, so if you want to double the size of those armies, you can do so, without buying the exact same thing twice. Having more dice, also lets you have more players, but for simplicity's sake, you'd probably rather buy other factions, if your intent is to go multi-player.

Well, I'd have pointed it out if it had any real relevance, But since its got all of only 1 Feral in there and none of the others the OP wants, nore any quantity of anything viable... its not the best thing to be pointing the OP at...

What? Neither of YOU understand and comprehend their TRADE 'function' concept here? You'll NEED to begin with something first of all, in order to 'foist' 'unwantables' unto another and GARNER what you'd prefer. "C" how EASY it were now?

Thanks all for the advice.

I hope to get some more dice soon. A friend of mine hooked me up with a starter and a couple kickers.

Thanks,
G
