Unfortunately, we don't have any margin for error since we're late with the printing process, so we will not know until a few days before Essen if it will be on time or not. As soon as we know, we will post it here. Either way, we will have a few copies there to demo the game and we will take orders if the game is late.
Hope this helps!

Our printer says the games will be on time. Today he sent a mail and said that they will ship the games to us in Sweden by the end of this month. That gives them at the very least 14 days to arrive, which should be enough. We're counting on their arrival in time, but will have demo copies to show the game at Essen anyway.

If the game is for sale at Essen, have you chosen a price?

Could you post the rules?

Thank you.

The official price that we reported to the organizers of Essen was 50 euros, but that was based on a higher printing cost than what we have now, so the price will definitely be lower than 50 euros. I can't tell you more since we haven't decided the price yet. Perhaps we will set it at Essen.

If you want to pre-order the game, please contact us at
info@fryxgames.se
Then you can pick it up and pay for it at Essen, (provided that we don't have trouble with the printing).

I'll get back to you about the rules.

Jacob,

While I am still excited to try it, from the photos posted here, it appears to be a card game with some mass produced beads and a mass produced die.

Could you explain if there is more to the game than what we can see in the photos?

Any chance of seeing the rules?

Thanks.

Could you explain how you priced this game? Even 25 Euro seems quite high. Are they also handmade?

If so, will it be mass-produced as well?

Could you give examples of the event cards? Do they always affect everyone, or are they 'take that' effects that can destroy or damage the modules of other space stations?

Thank you.

This is the first printing of Space Station and we only have 100 copies. Naturally we cannot have very low price this time, but it will be reasonable. There are many other games in this price range.

What is not shown yet in the photos are the 1, 2 and 5 megacretit bills used as currency in the game.

Examples of 'non-global' events:

Malfunction: Temporarily damage two modules of a station.
Bureaucracy: Remove one unused crew from the core module of a astation.
High-Risk Project: Remove any number of unused crew from your core module and gain that many megacredits.

All events (and especially the global ones) are such that they usually affect how you play your year. Sometimes the situation is such that you don't have any use for it, but then it also plays into the hand management aspect of the game.

- When will you know if everything went fine with production?

- Assuming everything went fine, will you bring all 100 to Essen, to sell them there?

We should know tomorrow if the copies we ordered are correctly done. If they are, we will bring about 90-95 of them to Essen.

We have received the 100 copies of Space Station today, and everything looks fine. We will bring as many as possible to Essen for sale. Welcome to come and test it and buy it there!

The price will be 35 euro. This is due to the fact that this first printed edition is quite expensive. If there is a genuine interest in the game, we will mass-produce it and hopefully be able to lower the price to about 25 euro instead. But that is in the future. There will, however, be a chance of winning a free copy of the game by winning the Space Station Champion tournament. To qualify for the tournament, you must come to our booth and win a match against some other players. The winners all get a lottery ticket for participation in the grand finale, where the first prize is a Space Station game.

Hej hej!

Yes, we will be at Essen 2012 and bring Space Station and Wilderness. We will have lots of copies of Wilderness, but it is uncertain how many Space Stations we will have. It could be between 10 copies and a few hundred. You could email us at info@fryxgames.se to book a copy if you like and then pick it up at Essen. Otherwise you could visit us in Malmö and buy it now. Why wait? cool

Hopefully we will also bring a new game to Essen... whistle

Cheers!
/Jacob

Hello folks!

FryxGames has announced the second edition of Space Station. It will be released at Essen 2012 and it includes improved artwork, tokens, wording and a much better box. See wwww.fryxgames.se

The price will also be lower than before (15-20€). We will have several hundred copies and we hope to sell them all, so you may want to pre-order it for pick-up at Essen or in Sweden (Karlstad, Stockholm, Linkoping or Malmo).

FryxGames will also have Wilderness available for 30€ and our brand new game Brawling Barons, a cheap medieval card game where efficiency and timing is essential. We are very pleased with all these products and hope that many people will discover and enjoy them.

We will run demos non-stop and arrange some contests just like last year.
Come to our booth 4-415!
