I think there is one tiny little detail missing in both the English and the German PDF versions of the rules, namely an answer to the question: How is the culprit defined/determined?

Under "Revealing the culprit - A." the English rules refer to the insert on page one. Unfortunately there is obviously some text missing in the box - the only thing I see is the sentence "May never be the culprit".

So, could someone please tell me how the culprit is determined?

P.S.: Maybe it's just the fault of my PDF viewer (evince on Ubuntu) but that was rarely a problem before...

Oh well, but it was now.

In Adobe Reader the box is readable without problem.

According to the explanation inside the red square on the rulebook:
it usu. is the one with biggest number; but the trap is here: when number 5 is among one of the 3 suspects, then the culprit is the one with smallest number.
