While poking around various blogs for more info on C&C:N, I ran across an interesting looking fan-created scenario. I found it via a link on the blog of the fellow who created the Sahagun scenario that is found in the Files section.

As I couldn't find a mention to this scenario either on this game's page on BGG or on http://www.ccnapoleonics.net/, I thought it would be worthwhile to share the link to it here:

==> http://donoghmccarthy.blogspot.com/2011/03/battle-of-sacile-...

I'm not uploading the file to the file page, as I haven't the rights to it, but you can find the link to download your own copy of the PDF (setup map, special rules, and victory conditions) as provided by the author (found on that blog post):

==> https://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&pid=explorer&chrome=true&...

Here's a snapshot of the battle field:

I haven't yet tried this scenario, but the notes on this posting http://joyandforgetfulness.blogspot.com/2011/03/further-thou... indicate that it has been playtested and that it is decently balanced.

Try it and share your thoughts. The only way to begin to catch up with C&C:A's wealth of fan-created scenarios is to try and encourage the creators of the scenario. Plus, this battle lets you try your hand as the Austrians potentially years before they become available as an expansion.

Hi guys,
if Mr Conrad Kinch will grant me the permission to publish his own scenario on CCNapoleonics.net website... I'll surely do it.
Remember you can always send new materials and scenarios to submit AT ccnapoleonics DOT net email address.
Thank you again

I believe that this scenario was actually created by Conrad's acquaintance Donogh McCarthy. The only one created by

(Conrad) that I can see, anyway is Sahagun (http://www.ccnapoleonics.net/index.php?option=com_content&vi...) which CCNapoleonics and the BGG CCN File page already list. Apparently permission will need to be sought from Donogh--maybe you can contact his via his blog: (http://donoghmccarthy.blogspot.com/)

EDIT: minor rewording for clarity.

I did publish a link to it on the C&C:N forum at the time
http://www.ccnapoleonics.net/index.php?option=com_kunena&fun...

Let me see if I can tidy it up and bit and then have it posted officially on the site?

Cheers
Donogh
