Can anyone point out any good two-player variants? I know the game is meant for three or four players, but my girlfriend and I have generally had nobody else to play with but ourselves. This means we more often than not play Settlers with just two players, and while she finds it fun, I just don't think the game works well with two players. Is there any way to make it work well with two players?

Don't I feel stupid. I only scanned the files and forgot about the area for discussing variants. Sorry for wasting bandwidth. blush

No worries. Let us know if you play it and how it went. I'd be interested in your feedback.
