That's MRS. McFoxFace to you!
I ran my second 5K race yesterday, The Turkey Trot!
This is a very small, casual event. They have a 3K walk, a 5K walk/run and an 8K run.
So, towards the end I was really running out of steam. I had a nasty cold all last week and I was not feeling 100%.
Just when I thought about walking a young girl comes up next to me all spritely and starts yabbering to me.
"Did you see that tree back there, it had a heart on it!"
Me, huffing and puffing: "Wow, that's cool."
"Yeah, it's really cool!"
I looked at her, "would you like to run the rest of the way with me?" and she was all happy, "YES!"
Then she said, "I think I know you from somewhere."
"Oh, really? What school do you go to?"
"I go to Washington Elementary."
"Oh, that school is not in my town, so I don't think I'd know you from there."
That's when she made my day, "You look like that lady on TV, that's how I know you!"
I told her, "oh no, honey, I'm not on TV!!" But that's how I finished my race laughing instead of walking.
I never asked her what lady she meant, I'll pretend it's a super model, although it could have just as easily been the granny from Beverly Hillbillies!!
"Granny"?!? I'd have thought Elle May, or perhaps Jethrene(sp?), and at worst then cousin Pearl, so, do you 'yodel'?

That's what I do too. We're all supermodels!
