I'm really liking player cards that interact with Location type-words. Up until now they've seemed superfluous. For me this really adds to the flavor and my immersion in the atmosphere of the game.

Although i am a big dwarf fan i don't like it so much that everything has to do with dwarves and dwarf keywords.

OK OK i know it's a themed expansion but i would like some generic stuffs.....

It is nice to see some more indirect location handling from a sphere other than spirit and leadership, all decks, even tactics, needs to deal with a large number of locations.

well, each of the cards are generically useful, they just have a bonus for specific location types. Also, I'm sure the whole Dwarrodelf cycle will feature many Underground, Dark, and Mountain locations so the cards will be very useful for at least the next 7 months. That's not bad, I'd say.

Aren't some of the Mirkwood locations Mountain keywords?

I like the idea of tailoring your deck for the mission you are about to embark on. Otherwise, it would stop being a "deck building" game once the optimal decks are discovered and then it would just be a matter of figuring out if the new cards that come with an adventure pack are better then those already in the "optimal" deck.

I endorse this statement. What sets this game apart from other ccg/lcg type games is that each expansion deck is an adveture in and of itself and therefore reminds me of old classic PnP adventure modules. And in those you always geared up for the adventure ahead with specific items and I think it would be great to get rid of the 'optimal' deck and instead have to create a deck tailored for each adventure, or at least each 'set' of adventures.
