I usually play games like Werewolf, Resistance, or party games in teams (catch phrase, taboo, etc.) when in a group of around 10 players.

But for the holidays I have a couple of parties with like 80+ people, and as the serious gamer I've been asked to bring some games that everyone can play, and it seems like when you get that many people, even werewolf breaks down alot.

What do people play with huge groups that offers a little more strategy than say Bingo?

If you can get some way to let everyone make binary choices and an overhead projector (and probably a mic) you could do incan gold. There's really no limit to how many people can play at once.

Get about 20 copies of Martian Dice. Intersperse them amongst the crowd. Problem solved.

This. End of story.

I took Wits & Wagers to a New Year's Party once and we had about 20 people surrounding the table, yelling out loud. One would have thought we were at a hot Craps table in Vegas (did I just say hot craps?).

With a large crowd, nothing beats it that I've played (except for a game I've created myself, but it's not published yet--fingers crossed).

So yeah, W&W.

I was about to make the same suggestion. With such a large group it would be pretty awesome.

I once participated in a thumbwrestling competetion that had a convention hall full of people playing all at once.

It's kinda nuts.I wouldn't exactly call it a game though, but it'll keep everyone entertained for a good while.
