Hi there,

is there a crowd who like to get an .NET Project which uses the BGG API to get information of Games?

I started a project a few month ago. You can search for games and get all possible data in an object for further use.

Kind regards,
Elektroschnitzel

Hi there,

took al long time till I be here again. So I will develop the tool a little bit further. Untill now you can only search for a game and see all available data. In future I will include searching for collections.

Are you .NET developer or simple user?

There dismay took them, for at the gate was a guard of whom no tidings had yet gone forth.

Swiftly the wolf grew, until he could creep into no den, but lay huge and hungry before the feet of Morgoth. There the fire and anguish of hell entered into him, and he became filled with a devouring spirit, tormented, terrible, and strong.

Then swiftly all his inwards were filled with a flame of anguish, and the Silmaril seared his accursed flesh. Howling he led before them, and the walls of the valley of the Gate echoes with the clamour of his torment.

I just found this thread.
I'm a .NET developer (C#), so it sounds interesting to me.

I can see a motivation for not providing such an API.

It could be a massive resource drain (i.e. - cost) on the system. An active human user is limited in the amount of data he can pull, but an errant program could leech enourmous resources endlessly. That could prove to be a large expense to the site owners.

Hi Paul,

my time is actually a thing that has to be invested in other more important things so I did not work on it at the moment. But I'm looking forward to do.
