Really cool Christmas light show on the side of a building. I was trying to find more information about how they did this. It seems it's projected on the building.

They started using the same effect in the Stone Mountain Laser Show this past year. Definitely very cool seeing it projected onto the side of a 1,600' mountain face.

Looks like the lasers were turned up a bit too high.

Yeah, that's just a daytime a shot of the bas relief carving in the face of the mountain. They project the lasers and videos onto the side after dark during the summer. Here's an example of the 3D video effect:



The actual carving only goes down to the horses shoulders, but it subtly and convincingly looks like the mountain crumbles away revealing more of the carving. Hard to capture in a low quality video, but it was amazing to see in person.
