Michael Dorosh posted an interesting article on the American soldier in the ASL forums and i thought SL players would find it interesting too. You can find it here...

He also hosts Tactical Wargamer, which covers virtually every wargame published. Checkout the 'Board games', a list going back to the 1960's. Unfortunately, the link to a fine SL page is broken.

Thanks for the link, Scott. I didn't think anyone even knew about the site. There were some problems when I changed servers a while back and I've been lazy about fixing some of the broken links. I fixed the SL link and some of the others. If you see any others please let me know.

hi Michael,

i always liked the site. the 'timeline' give a sense of how the industry developed from 1950s through today. the list of board games with links to BBG/wiki also offer an easy way to explore the individual games. Actually, i learned at your SL page some ASL Annual had Pre-ASL material and added them to my collection.

thanks,

Scott

"The Germans, for their part, considered themselves racially homogenous due to their bizarre Nuremberg Laws which stressed biological purity..."

well obviously. Apart from Gauleiter Forster, who said that if he looked like Himmler he wouldn't go on about racial matters quite so much.
