Hey folks,

I want to take some old Grenadier 25mm scale lead minis and attach them to some plastic 30mm round bases I bought, but I'd like to do so in a way that (a) allows them to withstand stress from playing with the pieces, but (b) will allow me to remove the minis from the bases without damaging the minis (if I ever wanted to re-box them or use them for another application).

I was thinking something like hot glue, but I think that would warp the plastic. Any other ideas?

Thanks in advance!

The first two choices are too temporary, I think. Elmer's could be promising.

Is hot wax literally candle drippings? I'm wondering if the plastic would handle that or the hot glue. Only one way to find out I guess.

I say do it and report back the results.

FWIW, I don't think the temp will be a problem - at least certainly not with the wax (go for that letter-sealing stuff... you might even be able to get it in black).

Hot glue would probably work just fine. I would use elmer's type glue.
