So,spaceships are cool, killing others in spaships is cooler! There doesn't seem to be too much information on the topic so...which one of those two games do you recommend me and WHY?

Important factors:
- 2v2 (This is the most important one)
- Lenght of play (Optimally 2-3 hours would be best)
- Pirce. If it's too expensive we would rather buy more boardgames.

Battlefleet Ghotic has the rules online and I heard that GW still supports the product via their specialist range. Am I wrong? I think I read something about using placeholders to try the game and get minis later, where can I find some?

I know nothing of Firestorm: Armada or how it plays

Any comments about Full Thrust or other space games are also welcome!

BFG is no longer fully supported and will have to be all ordered online from Specialist Games. Costs a lot. It was an excellent game, however, and you can occasionally find good deals on eBay. Due to how hard it is to get stuff for, it may be dificult to get others to play with you and purchase their own fleets.

Firestorm: Armada has the significant advantage of being in production currently. While I have not played it, I know that it does enjoy a large and happy following. Models are large and cool looking, and is currently being played in many LGS, making it easier to find opponents.

Full Thrust has the advantage of being able to be played with ANYTHING, including ships ou build yourself out of trash.

Oh, that's a shame. The price in ebay looks around 60€ for a medium size fleet which is around 10€ more expensive that FA stuff if we buy a bundle in their shop. Perhaps the Firestorm stuff is cheaper in other shops rather than directly from them?

Can you play Firestorm with just the rules and some mock-ups? It would give us a chance to try before buying blindy.

Oh, that's cool, thanks! That may make it a good choice if I can find some decent placeholders.

I will check them out, so far all games look great tough Battlefleet looks a bit more expensive than Firestorm. Any comments on the rules themselves?
