WHAT'S IN THE BOX?
Two complete playing decks with 61 cards
One complete B-boys deck with 20 cards
There are several types of cards in Born 2 Burn
These are the dancers from our battle group. Each one has a basic attack power (5) and Xtamina (3), and a special skill that will give you an advantage over their opponents (6).
All dancers know the four basic styles of breaking (Top Rocks, Footworks, Freeze, Power Moves) identified with their own color, although their level of expertise depends on the number of stars printed in the card (one star: base level, two stars: medium, three stars: advanced).
Move Cards will allow you to make moves and raise the basic power attack of your dancers. Attack printed in the card (5) will be added to the basic B-Boy attack. Style is
determined by their own color (red: Top Rocks, green: Footworks, blue: Freeze, yellow : Power Moves). Playing Move cards requires an Xtamina cost (3) that will be subtracted from the basic B-Boy Xtamina. The card skill level is determined by stars (one star: base level, two stars: medium, three stars: advanced).
Item Cards provide certain advantages to the dancers in play: they can add attack in one of the breaking styles (determined by their color), can multiply or add the dancer’s basic attack (white) or Xtamina (purple) and even add a star to the dancer’s skill equipped with it. Playing these cards has no Xtamina cost. You can only play one Item card per turn.
Xtamina Cards provide extra Xtamina in addition to the dancer’s basic Xtamina. There is no cost to play them. You can play in your attack phase as many Xtamina cards as you want. You cannot play Xtamina cards in your defense turn.
Interruption Cards are used just before your defense turn and decrease your opponent’s attack power. Subtract the white negative number (3) from the attacker B-Boy. You can play as many cards as you want to interrupt, but remember: there are only four Interruption Cards throughout the deck, use them wisely!
