Won't be long, although because of logical dissociation they wont realise it does not prove the existence of a god in the slightest even if it was true.

We already have a lot of religious people (and cranks such as psychics) saying that his Atheism caused his cancer. What a lovely god they must worship.

So Satan has as much power and is equal to god?

As a Christian I didn't agree with most of what he has said/written and I think many other atheists did a far better job in trying to argue against the existence of God. But no one can deny that he was a very charismatic, witty and intelligent person and he was partly responsible for many interesting debates, My thoughts go out to his loved ones.

I'm fairly certain that's a quote from the Satanic Bible.

Shrug. I'm just saying that if your god gave Hitchens cancer for talking shit about Him or whatever, then your god is either Satan, or a liar.

Imagine the most possibly obnoxious atheist polemicist. If he exists, he is actually more obnoxious that if he doesn't exist. Therefore, we call this most obnoxious polemicist "Christopher Hitchens".

This is the obnoxological argument for the existence of Hitchens.

See, I don't get this, I've never seen Dawkins as being particularly obnoxious. Unlike Hitch, who definitely was quite obviously obnoxious (and a bit of a magnificent bastard). Can someone give me an example of Dawkins being obnoxious in arguing religion?

[The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was not convincing people he didn't exist, but convincing them that he was God.

correct, Satan has exactly the same amount of power as god does, and should be given exactly the same amount of worship..

He's not but some people are so used to never having their beliefs challenged it can be shocking to them when it happens. People are aware of this so they sometimes grimace when he speaks.

Also as an intellectual he is used to having robust but polite debates and discussion which require some sort of understanding of the subject. This throws some when they realise that this polite man is actually tearing a hole, with ease, into their arguments.

However I have seem him debate with deeply religious people and there was no offence taken on either side. You could even tell they otherwise got on fine. He is not a friend of Bishops by being offensive.

Hitchens on the other hand just ripped into people and used emotive language, which he felt was justified. They just had different styles.

To paraphrase: "So, you beleive in God do you? Well, that's just silly, isn't it?" ..and I'm a Dawkins fan(-ish).

Source?

And are you saying that that's more obnoxious than what Hitchens has said?
