Hello, hope it's right to post my question here. Do you happen to know any good printing company to print game cards with? My friend has a game ready, but all his attempts to print it out here were complete disappointments.

Thank you.

Edit: he intends to print a big number of game copies.

Sorry HH I just don't know. You'd have to ask them.

If you want more info from the community repost with the title artscow in the title or do a forum search "artscow -re"

'Big amounts' is fairly vague. You might be able to get better suggestions if you were specific with the type of print run you were considering. Arts Cow is Print on Demand (POD) so the quality will not be as good as your typical printing company. It is still good but there is a noticible difference. The advantage though to Artscow (or http://www.printerstudio.com/ or http://www.superiorpod.com/) is that you don't have to invest alot to get playable and nice looking cards. There are a number of POD services out there including some like https://www.thegamecrafter.com/ and SuperiorPOD's http://www.adventuregamesource.com/ which can allow you to sell the game to others through their service. Economies of scale means that generally runs of 500 or 1000 are the minimum an actual printing company will quote and those will likely be at unprofitable prices.

I've been told Cartamundi is one of the very best (www.cartamundi.com) for card-based games. It's a belgian company with offices & plants worldwide. Don't know about their MOQ but it doesn't hurt to ask them.
