Mine was the year I came down on Christmas morning to this:

and my dad had it all set up like this already, so it was a true surprise

PS -my little brother got the original fisher price castle set, so of course it wasn't long before I started my first "castle siege"

Favorite childhood toys?
Little green army men or knights or cavalry/cowboys and indians, action playsets, Hot Wheels police cars, G.I. Joe and Star Wars and He-Man and Thundercats action figures, Transformers (of which Prowl was the greatest), and ROM the Space Knight in all his glory:

Favorite childhood games?
Besides the ever awesome Atari 2600, I loved Checkers, Dominoes, Aggravation, Battleship, Stratego and Survive.

Toys: GI Joe is king here, I had everything but the USS Flag and the Cobra Terror Dome, not sure how many accessories we lost in the woods

Games: Original NES has to be my all time favorite , but playing army outside year round was awesome too
chess and battle ship were always fun

I treasured a hexadecimal action figure (virus from reboot) for a number of years (also any marvel action figures as well! Love em'!).

Video game systems were my bffs. As for games, I liked 13 Dead End Drive, clue, guess who, a dice game called Greed, and all sorts of card games although my fav was Canasta. I also enjoyed trivia games like Blurt.
