This will be a fairly basic 13 player game with no physics. Roles will be up in a jiffy. Lynch time will be 10 PM. And you thought Christmas was going to be easy this year...
I lied. It won't be "fairly basic" but it will be very medium difficult. Just a lot of variety, not crazy in game mechanics or physics.
Players: 13 Lynch: 10 PM Night Actions: 7 AM Tiebreak: LHLV Role Reveal: Day only Teams: 2, possibly 3 Setup: Not all roles will be in game Victory: Elimination
Basic Game Mechanics
John McClane is essentially a lone wolf with possibly Holly G. McClane Powell, and Argyle as "aux evil"s. The FBI/Police may also be in the game as a third "wolf" team. This game will contain a full list of roles and abilities. There will be no hidden abilities or players. However, all roles and even all possible abilities of the roles will not be in the game. Hans Gruber and John McClane are guaranteed to be in the game. The game will begin with giving out those roles. Then those roles will simulatenously get to select their role abilities. The rest of the roles will then be given out. Depending on that, then the rest of the roles will be randomly given out. The number of villagers ("Terrorist" role) in the game, if any, will be unknown.
The Hans Gruber (village) team wins by eliminating McClane (Holly and Powell not necessary) and the FBI/Police if they are in the game. McClane wins by eliminating the Hans Gruber team. The FBI/Police must eliminate the Hans Gruber team and McClane.
Quick Possible Roles List
Hans Gruber Theo Karl Vreski Tony Vreski Heinrich Marco Franco Eddie Uli Alexander Eddie "Terrorist" Det. John McClane Sgt. Al Powell Police Chief Dwayne T. Robinson Agent Johnson Argyle Holly Gennaro McClane Harry Ellis
Hans Gruber (15 pts to use; those without * can be chosen multiple times) Real Use of Power (2): Once during the game may lynch top 2 players. Mrs. McClane, nice to make your acquaintance (2): One time view for Holly McClane. Have no illusions, we are in charge(5*): Determine 2 other terrorist roles in the game. Clay, Bill Clay (3*): You are tough to lynch/night kill/other kill. You'd have made a pretty good cowboy yourself, Hans (2*): Hunter ability The breadth of his domain (1): You get a one time extra vote which also counts as a tiebreaker. Who are you then? (4): One time view for McClane. Announcement (1): Can make one anonymous public post. Radio orders (2): One time use to open a chat with any player.
The quarterback is toast!: If in the previous day you had not votes, then that night you you may view a player for out of building (Powell, Johnson, Robinson, Argyle) or in building (all else). Unaffected by McClane tinkering. Karl
I want blood: You are tough. You also have a one shot kill vigilante power.
What floor did the alarm go off?: You get a one time view of McClane.
Give me my detonators: Each night choose a player. That player is tagged. Any night in the game you may choose to not tag a player but instead detonate. All players tagged are killed. Each successive night of tagging you get an increasing 25% chance of failure. If you bypass a night, the next night your success rate is reset to 100% Marco
Investigate: Choose any dead player at night and learn their role. Uli
Don't get impatient, just wound them: Bodyguard ability. Different target each night. Cannot choose self. Dissipates on two successes. Eddie

McClane (20 pts pts to use; those without * can be chosen multiple times)
Does it sound like I’m ordering a pizza? (3*): Choose one role besides Hans or those he's chosen to be or not be in the game. Ho ho ho, now I have a machine gun (2): Choose two roles. You will discover if these roles are in the game or not. Fly in the ointment (2*): You are tough. Yippikiyay (4*): One time use. Any actions directed at you are reflected back to the user. Geronimo motherf***rs (6*): One night you gain the abilities of your kill victim. Vents (2): One night and next day you avoid any abilities cast your way. View powers get the opposite results, and other powers such as kill fail with no notification of failure. That was Gary Cooper shithead (3*): Negates hunter ability. You there? (1): One time use to open a chat with any player. You're in charge of shit, Dwayne (1): Can make one anonymous public post. Lights off (4): One time use. Choose a player. That player is now a tinker to any view besides Theo's. Throw body out of the building (4): Choose a player. If that player dies his true role will not be revealed. A random one will be revealed publicly or to the Priest role (depending on when the player dies). Happy trails (5*): One night you may kill two players. Powell
A hunch: You know McClane's ID. If he ever targets you with anything he learns yours.
Diddly Squat: You are immune from Johnson and Robinson's abilities. Robinson's votes are negated if placed on you.
Married: You and McClane know each others' IDs.
His job: If you are in the game, Ellis is guaranteed not to be.
Where's the camera?: You get a one shot kill that succeeds only if it hits Theo.
Dwayne T. Robinson and the Police
Tax dollars: The force has many men and this role is tough. The police have themselves an RV: Once during the game you get an extra two extra votes to place. And another day you get one extra to place for lynch. Johnson, Johnson, and the FBI
The US Government: This role is tough.
Helicopters...right up the ass: Once during the game you can unleash a chopper kill. Choose one player to kill with 100% success. Choose two players and each get 75% chance of dying. Choose 3 at 50%, Choose 4 at 25%
I think I can handle this Eurotrash....Hans, booby, I'm your White Knight: Each night choose two players. If those two players are Gruber and McClane, you win and exit the game - and Gruber gets a free one time seer view. If you ever hit Gruber only and fail the next night, then you die. You must choose every night. Also once per game (with each) you get to open an alias chat with Gruber and McClane (not together - two separate occurences). If another VC is reached before yours is, then you lose.

Extra Rules Clarifications
Some clarifications, all with the qualifier of if this role is in the game. I have scanned all available roles again for clarifications:
1. The bodyguard Uli is aware when he succeeds in defense.
2. All tough roles learn when their tough is lost.
3. If Gruber chooses to lynch two, then it will NOT be announced to all beforehand.
4. If McClane dies then Powell, Argyle, Holly, and/or Ellis (if either Gruber or McClane die) can then "not lose" if any police/FBI are in the game and then go on to win the game. It will function as a neutral result with their team removed in Cassy.
5. Also, if a player has multiple abilities there is no limitation of actions per night/day. You can do any amount of them at once.
6. Actions are simulataneous. If a conflict arises somehow then it's McClane then Police/FBI (if present) then Gruber's team. However, McClane's regular night kill action occurs last.
7. Chat rooms: for Gruber and McClane they will show player IDs only, but not role. For Ellis' chat rooms they will show role alias only but no player ID.'
8. If Marco is in the game then he chooses from available dead players each night. It is no longer passive due to the possibility of multiple deaths per night.
9. We are not starting a new thread. Avin has gotten Cassy to believe the thread starts on page 25, so she won't scan bracketed orders, votes, or post counts before then.
10. There are NO night zero actions.
11. Any more questions please ask. I will also review periodically and may even provide clarifications for roles not even in the game. I'm not trying to fool you...but want to keep things as clear and consistent as possible.

Re: DIE HARD WEREWOLF: 13 Players, Starts When Full / Dec. 27
Alright I think I have all the powers up. This is going to be a really crazy, probably chaotic game. Balance is for sure not guaranteed. But it will be fun. I'm open to a few tweaks if you have comment.
There are many abilities after Gruber and McClane. They will not all be used. Each of them will be selecting which ones they want. I just need to give values to the abilities in order for them to select their set.
Not a vanilla game by any means. Three teams, possibly neutral (who's VCs are not mutually exclusive). Lots of powers. It's really just like an Everyone's Special type of game. Abilities everywhere, lone wolf figure, and a great theme.
