Hello all,

Am I right in assuming that due to the way the rules are written, none of the standard Island Group tiles are used for a 2 player setup? As in, Niue , Hiva, Flint Island, and Raiatea are left in the box? Just use the preprinted map as the setup?

The rules state to uses these tiles for 3 and 4 players, but not for 2, so I'm curious if that was an omission or if I'm interpreting it correctly.

Thanks in advance,

Jake.

Hi Jake,

You're interpreting it correctly. The two-player game is insanely easy to set up: all of the island tiles are left in the box. (Except, of course, the South Island of the Advanced Rules.)

Just set up the two home islands, plunk down the VP markers, and start playing!

Hope this helps,

Kevin
