This is a variant for those who have both SW and SWU. It makes use of the monster tokens.

At the beginning of the game, set aside 4-7 sets of monsters(depending on the number of players). Place them onto the board, making sure that no two monster territories touch. You choose where they go in any way you like or feel is appropriate. They may occupy lost tribe territories. any territory accepted by a monster does not score points.

The monster tokens are counted as a group. So each set of two monsters will only require one extra token to move into the space.

At the end of each turn, the monsters go on the hunt!
They will first try to move to a space occupied by a player. If two or more players occupy a space next to the monsters, randomly determine where the monsters go.
If no occupied spaces are next to the monsters, they move randomly to an adjacent space. they may occupy the lakes.

The monsters enter any region, regardless of the number of tokens or if the area is immune.

When a monster moves into a player space, that player loses one token in the area and the monster steals a point from the player. Place all coins that the monsters steal on top of the monster tokens

To kill the first monster, you must use 2 tokens as you conquer the region if you wish to kill it.

When only one monster is left, that monster will move twice at the end of each turn instead of once. It's second move may not be back to where it came from. This monster will require 3 to kill it.

When you kill the second monster in a group, you collect all the coins it has stolen.
