Does the Goblin Cavalry stop if his first move causes him to hit a castle wall? Or does he move again and hit the tower (assuming hitting the wall did not kill him)?

Not official, but I play it stops him. After all if there are two monsters in the space when the wall goes down, one takes damage but it stops them both.

Ah good point.

We played it did not stop him. As a consequence, we lost our wizard tower on the first turn of the game. He was place at the beginning of the game in the blue archer ring. So when he moved he went down to the swordsman ring. Then one of us drew a monster tile that states all monsters in the blue arc move, so he moved into the wall, took a wound, then moved into the wizard tower, destroyed it then died. Ouch! Kamikazee goblin warg rider.

But we probably should have played that he stops completely after hitting the wall. Btw, we miraculously won anyways

Castel Panic Rules, page 7, section Moving Monsters wrote:

Monsters and Walls
•When a Monster moves from the
Swordsman ring and a Wall is present
between the Swordsman ring and the
Castle ring, the Monster attacks that
Wall. The Wall is then removed from the
board, and the Monster that attacked
the Wall takes 1 point of damage. If the
Monster still has points remaining, that
Monster stays in the Swordsman ring
until the next Move Monsters phase
, as
shown below.

•If two or more Monsters move from the
Swordsman ring to attack a Wall at the
same time, the Wall is removed and 1
Monster (players’ choice) takes 1 point
of damage. The others are unharmed.
All remaining Monsters stay in the
Swordsman ring until the next Move
Monsters phase.
