I love boxing a game in a nice Plano. I've seen the thread at http://www.boardgamegeek.com/article/8044076#8044076 but I can't figure out what model Planos those are. It seems like you'd want lots of compartments - 12 for all the character bits (shields, command tokens, skills) plus seven more for the monster tokens and maybe 3-5 more for the mana crystals. I've been looking at the 3620 (http://www.amazon.com/Plano-3620-Prolatch-Adjustable-Divider...) which seems to have 24 compartments, so I think that would be enough.

Has anyone found a really good fit? Bonus points if you can link me to an amazon listing so I can replicate the setup.

I fit all the bits into a 3601, but there is not enough room in the box for the figures holder to sit on the bottom of the box, so my lid is a bit raised. But, all the bits do fit in there no issues. I actually play straight out of the plano box for enemy markers and mana crystals.

The model number should be imprinted on the bottom of the box on the inside. At least that is where I found the number for mine.

I made due with what was available at my local Walmart and was able to fit the 6 different monster disk types into a little 3448. I then put the rest of the bits in a 3500. It meant combining all of the bits for a hero in one slot (shields, level tokens, round order token and skill tokens), but it worked out nicely. The four sets of hero bits each get a slot, the ruins tokens a slot, the dice a slot and the crystals divided among the three remaining.

Everything fits nicely in the box beside the one insert for the heroes and cities. And I think I paid $2 for the small one and $4 for the other.

Cool, I'm hoping to find out the number since it sounds like it will be the best solution.

As my game should arrive tomorrow, I am resurrecting this thread to find out if people have either found a single Plano solution or found the numbers on the ones posted earlier...

I bought a Plano 3705 for this which at 9" x 7" x 2" actually fits in the box:

http://www.amazon.com/Plano-Half-Size-Prolatch-Adjustable-Di...

The only problem is with this box is that it's overkill - takes up so much space there's no room left for the other game components.

I actually ended up using an old generic plastic sewing kit/arts & crafts box which fits quite nicely being much smaller.

Unfortunately because it's generic I have no identifying mark or stamp on it that would make it easy to track down.

With tuckboxes for my sleeved cards, I'm actually trying to find a way to contain the map tiles actually.

I ended up bagging the individual hero components and tucking them under the mini insert. Everything fits great; no Plano needed!...
