This is my original thread.

Original looking for 'too complex'

And I'm looking for games complex and hard to explain (in your opinion) weighted (thanks) 2.1 or lower.

My theory is that:

2.1 or lower -> easy to explain to most anyone receptive to learning a boardgame.
2.2 -> grey area.
2.3 or higher -> basically hard to explain, except to those who are ready for the complexity.

My 2.3 or higher theory is getting debunkified pretty hard...which is good. But now to see if the 2.1 theory stands. The 2.2 is more or less an abscence of theory.

Re: Part 2: I'm forming a theory, and I need you to debunk it. Hard-to-explain games rated 2.1 or lower.
You may want to be clear here you are talking about game weight.

Serengeti - 1.7

We tried this several times and I don't think we ever played it correctly.

Onirim - weighted 1.6 but I and everyone I played it with messed up or confused the rules for at least the first 10 plays.
