So, I saw all the raves about D-Day Dice and clicked thru to their Kickstarter page...about an hour after it had closed.

Got Xmas out of the way and tried again to find something interesting to back, saw something about Exile Sun today...with 7 hours to go.

Maybe it's just me, but is there either a "recommended" list of current or upcoming Kickstarter board game projects, or a single forum or post or something I can subscribe to for the future, or basically do I just have to trawl for info?

Cheers!
Craig

Both of these would make good subscription threads for kickstarter info:

Making the Cut: Kickstarter, Ulule and Indiegogo Game Projects.

I was just thinking of creating a similar post asking for Kickstarter suggestions.

I just backed Exile Sun today.

The next one I'm going to back is Realm Coins. I'm just uncertain about the $50 or $100 level... leaning toward the $100.

If you find anything else really cool, consider nominating it for the 20 Most Anticipated Games of 2012.

I'll send a token of thanks of your way for nominating something.

Fantastic, thanks to all three of you for those, just had time to make a cup of tea and I've some good reading material to get through!

That Exile Sun does look right up my street to kick things off with, but it's gonna be good keeping tabs on the other projects and new ones.

Cheers!

Sounds a bit like my 'Box Opening Ceremony'...

I looked longingly at the Realm Coins but in the end I couldn't afford the level I wanted.

I thought about backing Exile Sun but the funding allotments turned me away. Glad to see it made the cut, congratulations.

I would also agree that this is one of the better looking projects that I'm looking forward to.

Please correct me here if I'm wrong, but I always thought that the Press Release forum is the place where producers announce their kickstarter projects.

Because of my subscription to this forum, I supported various games.

Omen had a previous release and got really good reviews. It means you know for sure that you are getting a very good game. Outside that I dont think there are a ton of kickstarter games that look very good right now. Shame you didnt create this a month ago because there was Rise, Miskatonic, Lemonade stand, D-Day dice and quite a few others that looked worth while.
