Can anyone recommend some good solo games?

I have and love arkham horror and struggle for the galactic empire and i was just wondering if there were any other games out there with that kind of complexity but come with effective solo player rules?

If you like Arkham try Elder Sign, it plays well solo, I play it solo with 4 investigators for some variety, its still easy to manage.

Maybe Space Empires: 4X? It has a good solo variant.

Mage Knight is both complex-ish & a ton of fun solo.

The best solitaire play I've had is taking a multiplayer game and playing the different parts myself. Depending on what you look for in your games, you may find that works well for you, as well. Do you play games to compete? Then a solitaire designed game would suit your needs more. Do you play games to take part in a narrative or to see how different choices interact? Then multiplayer solitaire may be for you.
Of the games in your collection, I'm betting Civilization would be fun this way.

Mage Knight Board Game (suggested above) is probably of the right complexity level and includes solo scenarios and general rules for solo play.

There are definitely solo variants for Agricola that people enjoy as well.
