Without having played it I would say that time is for some specific scenario (a small one). The campaign game should be longer

No, it takes longer than that. The rules ahve changed a lot since I played it in 2010, but it's hard to beleive anything other than a learning sceanrio would play in a couple of hours.

Correct. A quick scenario like Barbarossa or D-Day to VE-Day would be in 2-3 hour range.
