I've heard that this game plays much better as a 4-player game than it does as a 2-player? Is that the general consensus? I'm looking for a game that is still good as a 2-player than a 3 or 4 player ... and can still be played within a lunch hour at work.

Thanks!

It's okay for 2.

More is far better.

I've played this well over 100 times over the years - more than half as 2-player - and it's a great game with 2.

Mark,

What makes it better when played with more (understanding that I've not played the game).

I know, for example, a game like Dominion or San Juan can be played with two people, but those are great with more. They are horrible for 2-player, imo.

Does Ivanhoe fit into that category?

Thanks!
