I have never noticed before but it seems to me that it would be really easy to add another expansion to this game aside from the first does anyone think that it is a possibility?

It's from fantasy flight games. Of course it is a possibility.

I think the game really needs more buildings: additional buildings from the base game and some new ones.

Edited for clarity:

It's from fantasy flight games. Of course it is a certainty.

Maybe a F&F-esque expansion is too expensive to produce (especially if the game is not selling as well as FFG would have liked), so it might be easier to produce various, small, single civ add-ons containing, for example:

1 Civ with all essential information sheets and starting tile
1 extra neutral tile
1 extra culture card for each culture level (3 new culture cards in total that is, perhaps with title, theme and text relating to the Civ itself?)
3 extra Great Person cards (again, related to the Civ itself, and preferably max. 1 per type, so each civ adds a little bit to each category in the deck)

Alternately, they could compile 2 or 3 new civs in regional packs, for example:

Europe: France/England/Portugal/Holland
Africa: Bantu/Nubians/Carthage/Zulu
East Asia: Japan/Korea/Siam/Mongolia
Middle East: Persia/Babylon/Ottomans/Sumeria
America: Aztec/Maya/Inca

I'd definitely consider buying something like that...
