DOW have 'declassified' both overlord scenario's and the standard scenario "Villers-Bocage" in the official scenarios section of their website. The image of the board setup used to be 'classfied' and invisible, that's no longer the case now and the scenarios can be downloaded as a pdf-file.
Really nice of DOW, but it's a very clear sign that the battle maps won't be reprinted.

Pretty cool. I just played Tigers in the Snow at a friend's place, and it was a lot of fun.

@Rene - it does - just did it The DoW site sometimes throws up an error, trying to connect, keep trying.

I do have to rename the files from xxxxx to xxxx.pdf on my pc though.

Note that this a 'normalised' version of the printed battle map as that was 11 hexes deep and this is only 9.

Not to sound critical but a user on the DoW forum posted about these gems back on the 4th just he or she either never had a chance to copy what was posted there on here, or are you the same person?

Does that matter? Maybe I'm not up on BGG etiquette, but I wouldn't even think about waiting to let the same person post in both forums...it's just information and if I was the original poster on the DoW forum I wouldn't care about this post.

Sorry, but I don't think this is a big deal. cool

René, you're right.

It won't download if you choose the printer-friendly version, without background.

I downloaded the version WITH background, no problem at all, didn't even have to rename the file.

(Although I often had this problem in the past).

Edit: typo's, what else?

It's shame the balance is so off with these scenarios. It seems the designer underestimated the power of the new tanks.
