Firstly, myself nor my opponent have never played this game nor do we own it. Although I will own it in the next few months.

So we'd prefer a site that enforces the rules. Secondly, I'd prefer to be able to play real time or by turn kinda like A Few Acres of Snow on Yucata.de.

I setup Wargameroom but it appears that you can't play asynch or the game times out. I'm not certain either one of us will have 4 contiguous hours to finish a game.

Can anyone recommend an option from the plethora listed on BGG here?

For what it's worth, WGR games of TS do not take nearly as long as in-person games of TS. It generally takes a maximum of 2 hours for me. In addition, you can save and exit the game at any point, and then reload the saved game later.

Wargameroom is ideal when you know the cards backwards and forwards and have their text memorized by card title. You can zip through games pretty quickly.

If you are new to the game, you might find it pretty slow. You can't look at the text of all your cards at once--you either retrieve card text one by one on an as-needed basis or choose to have some external reference handy.

There's a card spreadsheet ideal for use with wargameroom in the files area - the in-game card lookup is indeed too clunky to use for more than the occasional check.

Not sure what you mean by asynch timeouts? wargameroom does let you save the game to a file and then restore it later.
