Should we expect a reprint in 2012?

This depends entirely on our retail partners around the world receiving enough indications of interest to warrant placing bulk re-orders which together make a reprint viable. We are not going to repeat the direct pre-order system we used with the first printing, since mailing individual copies of this unusually heavy game around the world proved far costlier and more troublesome than it was worth.

Go to the Fifth Column Games website, find the links to our retail partners on the order page, and contact your nearest one to express your keen interest (or to snap up a remaining copy in the case of Noble Knight). We are not currently in a position to start a reprint, but if demand builds up over the next few months, we may be able to do so in the summer.

For those who need a copy, I'll be putting my spare copy up for sale in the near future. My house was recently robbed and I need to raise money to replace what insurance won't replace.

Done.

Okay, you're now officially sold out.

I just ordered a copy from Noble Knight. I don't know how many more they have, but their page still says "In Stock".

Hmm? I'm looking at the page right now, and both the Mint and Fair copies are still listed in stock.

I just checked again and still see it listed as in stock for MINT/NEW. I had never bought from Noble Knight before, so I was a little confused as to whether that meant used in mint condition or new in shrink wrap. My copy was new in shrink wrap.

I haven't played yet, but I'm enjoying reading the rules and the book.

I'm pretty sure that distinction is just accounting for minor box damage from shipping. The LB box isn't quite as sturdy as GMT boxes - mine had some minor creasing right out of the shipping carton. Noble Knight caters to collectors and is probably making sure no one receives a slightly creased box when he's expecting a pristine copy.

I guess that the 2nd printing will have a sturdier box...

I think any problems with Lost Battle boxes is down to packaging.

To me they are better, as in more sturdy, than the GMT boxes

I'm not sure if I screwed up looking at it, or they changed the status, but you are correct. The game is still listed as in stock at Noble Knight. I might have gotten it confused with the SPI title.
