Hi All,

Just ordered this game and waiting to get my hands on this game.

Just curious to know if there is a good 2P variant for this at all or 2P is highly not recommended?

Thanks,
Madhu

The new revised version of the rules comes with 2 Players rules.

You can find the file in the appropriate section in the Wealth of Nations: War Clouds Expansion.

http://www.boardgamegeek.com/file/download/5k2z4kyquw/Rules_...

Hope that helps!

The WC 2p variant is to simply disallow bartering during the trade phase (in addition to specifying a specific flag count for 2p, as it does for each of the player counts).

I'd say it is good for learning the rules and the flow of gameplay but it is not a substitute for a multi-player game. I have played the 2 player game with bargaining and while still a good diversion, it is nowhere near as fun as our 5 player games.

Oddly enough, it doesn't detail how to handle starting packages
(though this is easily extrapolated).

That is because there is no difference. Not so odd.

The rules specifically detail a snake mechanism
for each of 3-6 players - each one is technically different.

It is a formula, same for all player counts.

Well, one is derivable - but enumeration does not a formula make.
