Excellently done. So how much is it going to cost me to get you to make a custom board for when they reprint Mage Knight Board Game? laugh

Will cost over a few 100 Dollars in postage alone. I used stone gravel from my drive-way to use as mountains!

I can't lift the darn board once it's been setup. cool

Gameplay was a little chaotic on the 1st game. PLanning on making more defined regions the second time round, ie. Great Forrest and Mountain regions.

But I am happy to say that it works!
Can't wait for the second game, gonna tryout the Frozen Wastes board.

Simple Tips on making terrain:
- make cutouts from cereal cardboard (scissors)
- wood glue for sand, forests and hills base
- cement gravel for mountains ans smaller hills (contact adhesive)
- train modelling gravel for mountain bases
- forrests i used train modelling foliage (contact adhesive)
- splash enamels everywhere! (or acrylics if you prefer)

(Note: the next day after place the pieces on a flat table, bend them backwards so as to reverse the warping)

All in all it took 2 full days - play lots of mind-numbing music and keep the coffee on the tap!

(note i only make pieces for mountains, forests, and hills.
But, that is already 100 pieces, 30 mountains, 30 hills, 40 forests.
I place these tiles as to how i see fit.
For exposed plains, rivers, swamps, roads:
All remain as are, but i can still place new tiles on top of these.

Conversion Table:
(Original=New Tile)
Hills = Rivers
Forests = Plains
Mountains = Swamps

I also use the Frozen Wastes Weather System whether I play on the Original board or the Frozen Wastes. I find it adds so much more emphasis on terrain.)
