I was looking at this game and wondering if a 12 year old boy would like this game, and is it easy to teach and learn. Thanks

My 9 year old loves it. (I make suggestions from time to time, but he is pretty darn good at it!) No problem for a 12 year old.

My two boys love the game and they are ages 10 and 13. It is very easy to teach.

My 12 year old really likes it and keeps asking me about when it's coming out on the iPad (Pod? Can never remember. The little one.) so he can play without needing his dad.

My 11 year old and I just played it for the first time last night. We were both up to speed 10 minutes into the game. He's not a hardcore gamer and he's already talking about wanting to try different factions.

My 8 year old loves it. He picked it up easily and now teaches it to his friends.

Am I a man or am I a muppet? If I'm a muppet then I'm a very manly muppet!

My eldest son was 9 when he started playing - now 10. He's NUTS about the game... and actually getting pretty good at it.

My 13-year-old daughter likes it.

SWs is easy to teach and learn. The mechanics are fairly simple and straight-forward, though there are occasional details that are easy to forget at first. The complications come when considering all the individual abilities of the units -- but that is also where the enormous fun comes from, too.

I'll ask my nephew if he still likes it in 3 years.

Even though he went 1-2 in his first tournament (for any game) he wanted to keep playing afterwards.

If my son is any indication, your son will still enjoy it five years from now. I taught it to my 17-year-old last night and he loves it.
