I'm trying to track down a game for a friend. She says she played it in the early 90's.

It was a square playing area with a mesh net layer on top of the bottom mat. Each corner was a goal pocket. Each player had a colored "mallet" bopper thing...and you had to smash bugs (that were under the net) into the corner pockets.

Ideas? Or something similar? She wants something for her son.

I remember this game! The little puck-like bugs were sort of semi-teardrop shaped, and painted like yellow and red beetles. Kind of like carroms with bugs...

Right?

Similar concept, but I think it's more 90's looking.

She says you hit the bugs with the mallets from above. And that there were four bugs and four mallets.

Yep, I'm thinking of the right game, but I just can't remember what it's called. I'm putting my Google-fu to the test; I'll post what I can find (if anything) if no one else figures it out first.
