I will probably just have to cut these out of cardstock, but if I can avoid it I will because I am profoundly lazy.

I'd love to have a set of blank hex tiles that I can draw on.

Anyone know of a source for such?

On Edit: Found some old BGG forum threads on the topic (for example: http://boardgamegeek.com/thread/149042/hex-tiles-grids-and-m...).

you can look for hex-shaped coasters & just glue your stuff on them.

Look out for a copy of Lost. It comes in a silver tin and turns up in thrift stores and discount bins all over the place. The best part about the game, by a massive margin, is that:

"There are 75 hexes, about 2.5" across the widest part, or a little more than 2" across parallel sides. About BattleCry/Mem'44 sized. "

I usually buy my counters at
http://www.spielmaterial.de/english4/
But depending on the amount, shipping costs from Germany will be rather high.

Print & Play Productions has several different sizes of blank hexes.

Somewhat late post I know, but incase anyone is interested or still looking I suggest searching for "2mm-MDF-Laser-Cut-Wargaming-Base" on e-bay
or http://www.warworldgaming.com/product-category/war-games-sce...

And yes, they are the same company. I've used them many times.

I picked some up off the Game Crafter. They have a few options.

"Deck of 54 completely blank cards" means something else to me.

The game crafter has some options (not sure how the prices compare to the other suggestions here though)--

There's a whole DiYer community here, if you can't find something you want at a reasonable price, ask over on the DiY forum.

I'm happy to cut shapes out of wood, chipboard, acrylic, paper, cardboard, etc, etc. A tinkerer like me can't compete with mass producers, but what we can do, is produce any shape, any size, in the material you prefer, at a reasonable cost
