Wow, this looks really professional. AND free! Why is there no entry for this in the BGG database?

Really? They look pretty different to me. Oz is a game about collecting character cards and scoring cards which vary in value depending on which characters you have. The Disney game appears to be a game where you build a deck, and then try and race your opponent to advance your characters a certain number of spaces, while playing events etc, like a fairly simple CCG.

Why is there no cease & desist from Disney? I can't imagine that this is legal (but I am no lawyer), which might be why it is not listed as a game.

This looks pretty cool. I'm going to have to make this a project so I can play my daughter can play this. Two Questions:

1) How long can this possibly last before Disney puts a stop to it?

2) Any print-and-play afficionados out there got any tips for how to make this look as professional as possible?

The Walt Disney Company and Pixar are in no way connected with, nor endorsing of, this game.

Most of the Wizard of Oz Books are in the public domain. I don't need permission. One main reasons I switched to Oz.

They are played exactly the same. I originally designed the Disney game, but couldn't get it published, so I re-worked it around OZ since the books are in the public domain.

Take a look in the instructions booklet PDF and you'll see a list of recommended products. Here's the list:

•6-Color inkjet printer
•8.5" x 11" Premium Matte Photo paper, double-sided (I use Staples brand)
•Continuous ink system for the printer (cartridges are expensive!)
•Mirrored self adhesive ink-jet film from Papilio (for magical cards)
•X-Acto Knife + Metal straight-edge ruler + Self-Healing cutting mat or Xacto Paper Trimmer
•1/8" corner punch
•Sleeves

Thank you!

Now all we need is a decent artscow coupon that's around the $4/deck with free shipping variety. One had expired at the beginning of this month, so I suppose it's only a matter of time again.
