And cake?

I would love if Ora et Labora came with a free chocolate fudge cake.

I'll just listen to some Cannibal Ox on my ipod here and imagine that you made the music.

As long as the cake can also be purchased separately for those of us who bought the first printing.

You'll be able to download a PDF of the recipe from the publisher website.

Yes.

A few months from now, I think the prediction was about 2 months to produce and 2 months to get into north america (search the forum for the actual prediction)

It should have slightly better components. They told us the boards would still be thin but would not be pre-warped and the thingy to attach the wheel was not going to be as low quality as the current one. They may print the player aids in actual paper instead of toilet paper as well, but that was not confirmed. I assume it is a given that you will be able to actually punch out the counters and that we wont have the systematic random production flaws reported ad nauseam in the forum.

I am waiting for the game as well, I refused to buy it in the current state, but if the announced changes go through it will put the game production from unacceptable to underwhelming and that will be good enough for me to buy it, since the gameplay is very good.

There's going to be some serious mold in that box by the time it gets to you.

I may be hysterical but considering the quality of O&L components the cake would be a loaf of bread with butter and sugar. Considering the quality control many of them would have shards of glass inside.
Many of the costumers would be happy because they can still eat the cake as it is, and they would publish a video of how to use a flashlight and some chop sticks to inspect if it has shards of glass inside.

The problem with the last cake was that it was too thin and too difficult to read from the other side of the table. New players really enjoyed the round shape

Someone here already confirmed that instead of actual cake you will have to download a cake recipe PDF off the site. I think we are all disappointed with that component downgrade.
