So I've been wanting a copy of ultimate werewolf for a while now and I"ve been thinking of breaking down and buying one. Here's my problem. Which edition is the best to get? I 've looked around and they all have things different it seems. The whit box has different roles some have expansions some say cards have been changed or cards have been taken away. I'm kinda lost here. i want the edition that has the most bang for it's buck or the one that has the most stuff.

Ultimate Werewolf: Ultimate Edition is definitely the one you want.

We've played this many times and we've only explored about ten percent of the roles available. It's a terrific value, to boot.

Edit: Hmmm. That exact version MAY currently be out of print, if only temporarily. If you can't find it, you could pick up the Ultimate Werewolf with Night Terrors Expansion already included (I just checked to make sure it was still available on Amazon and it is). Just make sure the version you get plays with up to 68 and you'll be set. That will mean that you're getting the most bang for your buck and won't feel compelled to buy small expansions.

which version did you play? Or year? It seems like every year it has changed so it makes it rough for me to tell which to get.

The version I first linked had the "Classic Movie Monsters" expansion added in; the current in print version seems to have the "Night Terrors" expansion included. See my "edit" comment above. The differences will be minimal, really. The base game roles will get by far the most play IMHO.

Have fun!
