Hey All,

I have a couple of friends who are Deaf, and we are hosting a games afternoon next week. I would really love them to come, but I am afraid that my signing skills won't be good enough to explain some of our games to them. I really don't want them to feel left out. Reading the rules will also be difficult for them - they've never played these kinds of games before, and Auslan grammar is very different to spoken English.

Does anyone know any Auslan speakers who may be willing to do a video "how to" for our friends?

Also - given the difference in syntax between spoken english and sign language, I am anticipating that they may find games heavy on text difficult to understand and play. Any suggestions on the best games to teach first - just to give them a taste, and hopefully get them hooked enough to play regularly with me?!

Cheers
Jules
