I like the necromancer -- that is an interesting ability.

Edit: It would appear that the victory points for cards may have been toned down in Advance? All three Thunderstone Bearers are 4 VP each... the dragon was also 4... does this mean that, for the most part, VPs are limited to 4 for a given monster?

I don't want happiness by halves, nor is half of sorrow what I want. Yet there's a pillow I would share, where gently pressed against a cheek like a helpless star, a falling star, a ring glimmers on the finger of a hand.

That's an interesting idea and I think one that would quite possibly improve the game. Now if you don't get a chance to kill that high VP monster when it comes out it won't be quite as detrimental to you.

I hope to see some changes regarding losing against the monster. There should be some punishment for facing a monster and running away or getting your a... kicked.

From the article:

Check back Monday for more news on Thunderstone Advance, and next week for more card spoilers!

Monday was yesterday... we are almost into Wednesday.... hope nothing is wrong over at AEG.

Nothing's wrong other than my inability to get the board art loaded. Couldn't put up the article without the art! Solved now though -- should be going up in a few minutes.

Plus, we're going to do some more design diary stuff on BGG this week, because we love every one of you. Especially you.

Edit

It's up now:
