Final score: Threat 20 + Damage 2 - Victory Points 4 + Turns taken 110 = 128.

Not a great score, but I am pretty happy with how the deck played. I played a slow and cautious game and the deck managed to deal with everything it met. Turn 4 was probably the closest I came to disaster, with three goblins engaged, but I got lucky with encounter draws on turns 5 and 6 and no more enemies appeared. Dwalin was the surprise star of the team, helping to defeat 7 goblins to reducing my threat by 14.

Quite cool but Goblim folower should to engage you in set up.
Cose East Gate ability doesn perevent it. This is not optimal engagement and there is no engagement check also. He coming by when revealed ability.
I know is really nasty but is should be like this.

I think what he was trying to say:

Goblin Follower's when revealed effect states that it "engages the last player"
East Gate states that "players cannot optionally engage enemies and no engaement checks are made."

Goblin Follower's when revealed effect is neither an optional engagement nor an engagement check, and therefore should still be engaged immediately when it is revealed - even of this is during setup. I guess it followed you to the gate, being outside already!

Great win and well played, making good choices at the right time. I like the timing of Sneak Attack to get rid of the Patrol Leader.

Also, it looks like you added a card to the SA every time you used Cave Torch. As per its card text, only Enemies are added, not Locations or Treacheries.

Next time I write a session report I'll add a bit more detail with the Torches, as I haven't said what I drew.

- I used the Cave Torch on turns 1 and 2 and got lucky - there was so much threat building up I had to gamble. Both times I drew non-enemy cards.

- On turn 9 I used the Torch to get rid of a Signs of Conflict which I knew was on top of the enconter deck (Go Henamath!).

- On turn 10 I used the Torch to clear a Branching Paths, discarding a Branching Paths (Henamath again). Howvever, when the Branching Paths leaves play, I have to draw three encounter cards and add one to the staging area - and I chose yet another Branching Paths.

Hope this makes sense now!
