How does it work when you give two cards to your partner?

Is there any way to then gather cards, or do you have to wait until your partner gives you cards back before you can do any more gifts?

I was wondering the same thing. SInce it says you can't ever go below 6 cards, that means if you give your partner 2 cards, and you're down to 6, they have 10. You can't pass any more until they pass you two cards getting you both back to 8.

finally got to play with 4 players Saturday.

you can give your partner 2 cards as your action (no other action for your turn)as long you still have 6 cards in your hand after.
your next turn you can play and draw as normal.
your partner might give you 2 as their turn if they decide to.

My partner & one of the other team members had played it before as
a 2 player game- but first time for me & other team member.
it was interesting in learning what to play without any discussion merely on the play clues.
we lost - but I want to play again.
