This game is advertised for 3 to 5P but is there any reason why it could not be played as a 2P game?

Would that require changes in the rules?

Tom Vasel suggested using cards 1-30 in a 3P game instead of the entire deck, so I think for a 2P game you should use cards 1-20.
That makes for a very tight, card counting game. You have to take something each round, so it's all about balancing the Yins and the Yangs.

I didn't play Yin Yang (yet) so I don't know how good this variant is, but it sounds like it would play well.

Sorry I'm late to the party on this one. When we play this two player, we play two rounds and deal to a third dummy hand, and just play cards off the top of this at the appropriate time. Makes for a fun, light game.
