Heck yeah Yakyuu-ban (Table Baseball). I totally want one of those. Thankfully there is an importer in North America... Here's the sales listing for Canada.

It's on my wishlist. Had one as a child, but these seam way more advanced.

No they go outdoors next to the whiskey and used girls underwear vending machines.

No joke.

I've been to Japan a few times and have seen neither whiskey nor used girl underwear vending machines. Where in Japan are they found outside?

As I'm not afraid about what Google thinks of me I typed "japanese used girl underwear vending machine" into their search engine. One day, when I am a famous game designer, my search history will come back to haunt me.

Anyway, out pops 54,400 results. Seems like they've been banned: http://www.inquisitr.com/10689/japanese-government-banning-u...

Actually, it is. The panty-vending machine is a "no one has seen it"-occurence. I don't doubt its existance, but you can be pretty safe to assume it is, or probably even more possible was, more a marketing gimmick than anything else. Unless I'm completely misled.

I've lived in Japan for 2 and a half years and I never saw one. Right, I didn't enter the most dubious quarters of Tokyo, I didn't, but.

Booze vending machines though, I've seen. They're rare, but not "omg!" rare. There was one in Setagaya where I lived my first year. Had some 2000 yen cheap whiskey I remember.

When living in Germany, I had a beer vending machine in my buildings laundry room. Light, dark, and radler beers for 2 euro, if I recall correctly.
