Testing 11-Player Ruleset

Good Roles:

Seer - Each night receives a vision of a target player as 'werewolf' or 'not werewolf.' The seer receives a vision on Night 0 of one randomly chosen player that is 'not werewolf.' Thereafter, the seer chooses which player to view. Even after the wolf cub has been promoted they will see the wolf cub as 'not a werewolf'

Aux Seer - Each night receives a vision of a target player as 'witch or wolf cub' or 'not witch or wolf cub'. The aux seer can not tell the difference between the good witch and the evil witch. The aux seer receives a vision on Night 0 of one randomly chosen player that is 'not witch or wolf cub'. Thereafter, the aux seer chooses which player to view. Even after the wolf cub has been promoted they will see the wolf cub as 'witch or wolf cub'.

Witch - This is the good witch. They will be viewed by the Aux seer as 'witch or wolf cub'. They can block any night order except the wolf kill. They can also block a brutal kill. If the brutal kill happens at lynch their order must be submitted prior to lynch and their order will be locked so they can not choose to block a different player during the night. If their orders are on the lynch target at lynch time their orders will be locked until the next dawn.

4 Villagers - Ordinary villagers with no special powers, or so most of them think. One of the villagers will have a brutal ability and of course will know it. One of the villagers will be tough, but won't know it until he survives a lynch or kill attempt (he will be told specifically that he survived a kill attempt). One of the villagers will be a latent seer. They will not know they are the latent seer until either the seer or the aux seer dies. Then they will gain that players abilities. They will not learn the information that the dead seer died with, nor will they receive the views submitted by the seer the night of their death. If however the seer is lynched the latent seer will be able to submit orders during the night phase. One random villager (possibly the one with the brutal, tough or the latent) will unknowingly be a tinker.

Evil Roles:

2 Werewolves - The werewolves know each other's identity, and may private message/chat without restriction. Each night the wolves choose one target player to kill. There is no kill on Night 0. One of the wolves will have a brutal ability.

Wolf Cub - The wolf cub will start the game not knowing any thing other than that he is a cub. They will be viewed by the Aux seer as 'witch or wolf cub'. As soon as one werewolf is killed he will be promoted to the full powers and chat room as the werewolf.

Witch - This is the evil witch. They will be viewed by the Aux seer as 'witch or wolf cub'. Each night chooses one player to block their night actions. Can not block the wolf kill. The Witch wins if the wolves win, but does not count as a werewolf for parity purposes. If their orders are on the lynch target at lynch time their orders will be locked until the next dawn.

Victory Conditions:

Good - All good players win if all werewolves and the wolf cub are eliminated. The witch does not have to be eliminated in order for Good to win.

Evil - All evil players win if the wolves achieve parity: if at any time the number of active wolves (doesn't count unpromoted wolf cub) remaining equals the number of non-wolves remaining (including the witch), evil wins.

Lynch Rules:

Each day players vote for one player to be lynched. The player receiving the most votes is killed. If there is a tie between two or more players, the tied player with the longest held last vote is killed.

Lynch time is 12:00:00pm BGG time. Votes cast with this time-stamp are counted. Votes cast after this time are invalid. Votes made during the night phase are invalid.

All votes must conform to the Cassandra Vote Tally System rules. (Will be
posted once the game starts). If all living players vote night fall it will
speed up the dusk.

The player's role but not team is revealed upon lynch.

Night Orders:

Wolves, Seer, Aux Seer, and Witches must all submit their night orders by 2:00pm BGG time. They do this by using the Cassandra Game Order system in the Cassandra Chat System.

The wolves' night kill choice is revealed with the DAWN post. Only the players role is revealed.

If all living players (including those with out night actions) click on the
'Lock Game Actions' button it will speed up Dawn.

Do not post the content of your Mod Chat room to the game thread. You may summarize, but direct copying is not allowed. Consider that like showing your card to the group in a face-to-face game
Please limit posts made after you have been killed, since there is no
moderator on duty to police such things, it would be better to refrain

Notice:
The Automod system is in Beta Testing. There may be unexpected or strange errors or results or things may change from game to game, so make sure you always read the rules. Please direct any concerns, questions, or improvment suggestions to Melsana or Jmilum.

Important Information:
Tiebreaker: longest held last vote
Lynch time: 12:00:00pm
Night Action Deadline: 2:00pm
Weekend Policy: This game will not run over the weekend.

This game will start when full.

Man I managed to get this game in sign up seconds before the Geek went down for maintenance. So I didn't get a chance to come post this....

-----

Clearly you can tell from the name that this game will not be a real game it will be scripted so that I can make sure to test all the bits of the code that have yet to be tested (at least all the ones I can think of).

The one major rule I want to make sure everyone is aware of is

NO nightfall or locking of actions unless I specifically ask for it.

I don't want dawn or dusk falling when I won't be online to handle any issues that may arrise.

So here is the current plan of the script for this game...

Day 1
Lynch Brutal Wolf - Lynch PeteVasi
Witch 1 block Brutal Wolf - Dcorrin blocks PeteVasi
Witch 2 block witch 1 - Nyriv blocks Dcorrin
Brutal Seer - PeteVasi brutals Accatitippi
Kill Vanillager - Wolves Kill Avin
Aux Seer view cub - GrimJester views Dispaminite
Latent Seer view cub - Jmilum views Dispaminite

Day 2
Lynch Vanillager - Lynch Guenhwyvhar ( he is tough but this should still test what I need it to test)
Witch 2 block lynched villager - Nyriv blocks Guenhwyvhar
Witch 1 block witch 2 - Dcorrin blocks Nyriv
Kill Aux Seer - Wolves Kill GrimJester

Day 3
Lynch Wolf-Cub Lynch Dispaminite
Witches Blocks Nobody
Kill Vanillager Wolves Kill Guenhwyvhar]

Day 4
Lynch Brutal Villager Lynch Snaak
Witch 1 Block Brutal Villager Dcorrin blocks Snaak
Kill Latent Seer Wolves Kill Jmilum

Day 5 Testing Done End Game
Lynch last Werewolf Lynch Robb

Once the game is over I will set the winner to "Other" so it doesn't affect your stats.

Thanks again for helping me with this.

I may not be around to nightfall or lock votes when you order it, Melsana, becuase I'm sleeping during dawn and dusk -- am I still eligible to help out?

Yeah, it is unlikely I'll order them, but if I do then it is just cause I am ready earlier than the set dawn and dusk, but the set dawn and dusk are always going to be fine for me.

The Cassandra Automatic Vote Tally System

Your Moderator has enabled the Cassandra Automatic Vote Tally system
for this game. In order for it to function correctly, your votes will
need to be formatted correctly. The following rules will explain what
you will need to do:

Players
1. All votes must be bolded

2. The entire vote statement must be bolded and enclosed in bracekts: [vote jmilum]

3. Only one vote per post.

4. If you [vote nightfall] your vote will be locked (voting
nightfall is allowed in the same post as a vote for a player, but it
must come after it, this does not violate Rule #3)

5. Vote tallies will be automatically posted to the game thread hourly
if the tally has changed. The Tally and Vote Logs (for each game day)
are also available on the Cassandra game page.

6. If your vote is not counted be sure to check the Vote Log page and
see if it was marked invalid and why.

7. Case does not matter and simple typos will not cause the vote to fail.

8. You may [vote no lynch] if your game allows it.

9. Non voting players will be listed in the tallies. This will only be
correct if the Moderator notes which players have been killed (see below)

10. Editing a vote post will invalidate the vote and it will not be counted.

Moderators
1. The moderator will need to post [Dawn] when the day begins
(after the night results are posted) and [Dusk] when the lynch
deadline has passed and the day is over. Votes will not be counted
after [Dusk] has been posted. They will be registered again
after [Dawn] is next posted.

2. You may include a day number in the dawn and dusk post for
informational purposes, but it will not be used by the system.
Cassandra will increment an internal counter each time it sees
[Dawn] no matter what day is shown in a dawn post (i.e.
[Dawn 3] the three is allowed but ignored)

3. After dusk has been posted, the Moderator may go to the game page
on Cassandra to request a Final Tally to be posted before the normal
scan period has elapsed (i.e. Game Y gets scanned at 45 min. after the
hour, if it lynches at 7pm the moderator may request a tally to be
posted from the game page before 7:45pm. it will also be posted
regardless of whether or not it has been changed since the last
posting) - Do this by clicking on the 'Retrieve Final Lynch Time Vote' link.

4. You will need to note which players were killed via the lynch or at night by
either posting [killed jmilum] in the thread, or by going to the game
page and editing the player list. When posting in the thread, be sure to post
[dusk] before posting the lynch kill, and post [dawn] before
posting the night kill.
Example:
A. lynch time has passed so post [dusk]
B. goto the game page and select a final tally to be posted
C. check the final tally and post [killed melsana]
D. after the night deadline has passed post [dawn]
E. post the night kill with [killed kima]

Your Moderator has chosen to use the Longest Held Last Vote method for a tiebreaker - This is just for Cassandra system, and there may be a different tiebreaker specified by your Moderator in the ruleset.
