We have 6 of us that play games regularly, and I'd like to try this with 6. I know it would take 2 sets (I would paint some of the penguins 2 different colors). Each player would get two penguins.

But how many tiles, and how to set up?

I saw a suggestion elsewhere for 24 more tiles for 6 players. Which tiles would these be? Maybe something like 9 ones, 9 twos, and 6 threes?

Also, how do add 24 more tiles to the starting setup? Just add 3 more tiles to each of the 8 rows?

Thanks for your suggestions

You are six… and you have two sets… and this game plays well with three. So split up, my friends! Play some rounds mixing the teams up.

If you want to feel like you are playing together - play at the same table. (Yeah, this seems really obvious, but it works!)

The ratio of the tiles are three 1-fish : two 2-fish : one 3-fish.
So for the extra 24 tiles, you could add twelve 1-fish, eight 2-fish and four 3-fish.

Or have you already been playing the game for 5 or 6 players?
